God has a sense of humor

I cannot believe how forgetful I can be. Well I forgot two weeks so here are the updates. Our family is going good. Kids are still in school, but that spring break that they had a week ago sure was eventful. I cannot say that I am not glad to see them back at school J. My husband is working on getting a job, which can be hard in this economy. But with God’s help he will find one. Something that is new, well we are back on the PX90. Now for those who do not know what the PX90 is, it is a very hard and extreme workout. It is about an hour and a half for six days for three months. Let’s just say my first week was hurtful, I felt pain in places I did not know existed.

Something else new, we bought a car. It is not the prettiest thing but we will make it work. One thing that was quite funny, well not to us but God had to have been laughing his heart out was our car. Our car was cheap, so it needed a bit of work on it, which is okay because my husband is good at fixing cars. However, God had a sense of humor. We finally got the piece and tools we needed to fix the car and my husband and I were working on the car, trying to get it done before dark. Halfway through the fixing, where my husband had taken parts apart, God thought to play a joke on us and made it rain. Now a little sprinkle would not have been too bad, but no, God had a much bigger trick to play on us. God made it not sprinkle, not even rain normally, but made it pour down so hard that even under the umbrellas we got wet. So it is fair to say God has a sense of humor, he had to be cracking in enjoyment, rolling around amusement, dying of laughter, at the sight of us. My husband was under the hood, trying to put parts back together as fast as he could, while I stood in the rain, trying to keep the two umbrellas on the motor not to get it wet. Once we had as much done as possible, my husband shut the hood and we stood there looking like two drowned, black rats, not even done with our work. God has such a sense of humor. J

A clumsy moment

We all have clumsy moments, although some will have more than others, I am not any different than any other and have clumsy moments too. My moment started with a chair. You see I have a chair that has wheels on it. This chair is close to the ground and is easy to tip over if we are not careful. Now I knew this about the chair. However, I still sat on it and in my moment of thoughtlessness I leaned back not thinking. Well the chair fell and I fell along with it. I became stuck on my back between two other pieces of furniture and still sitting on the chair. And of course I could not help but laugh at myself. My husband came over to help me out of the chair. However, both of us forgot the wheels and as he pulled me by my hands, the chair rolled right through his legs. I was still on my back toward the floor, sitting on the chair. I have never laughed so hard in my life.

We all have clumsy moments, those awkward moments, those silly and ridiculous moments, those moments that can be quite embarrassing. But I say laugh at those moments and share them with others because laughter is always the best medicine in the world.

What is love?

I was messaging someone when I came across something that I think people should think more about. What is Love? So many times I see people place money into love that giving and taking is a part of love. I say this is faulty reasoning. I have also seen people see love as what you do when a person has an achievement, as if when they are doing well is the time to show them that you are there for them. I say this is not love.

I say love is when you are there in times that are tough, when a person is at their lowest and you are there. It is when a person makes a mistake, yet you show them support. It is when you show a person that you care when everyone else is not there. It is patience when a person is upsetting you. It is humbling yourself and never thinking you are above someone because you did not make their mistake.

I think too many people think that they do not need to show they care when a person really needs it. However, it is those who are there in times of need who show true love.

Everyone should read, Corinthian 4:13

Maybe people should reevaluate their lives and how they show love, this would make a difference in the world of today.
